I recently purchased a KN4YB bug looking for something that had more speed adjustment then my trusty Vibroplex Original. After using Thomas’ set up video to get it all adjusted to my liking, I’ve really taken to it!
It has good weight and doesn’t move around, but I use a little cell phone sticky pad under it for added sticky. It feels like it’s easier to time my dits, where as on Vibroplex they feel like they run away from me if I stop paying attention. Of course, I’m quiet new but I believe that plays into this as the ability to control the dits more was part of why I got this bug. It goes down to quite low speeds but as I started on the Vibroplex, slowing down to about 17-18 felt great for me.
One thing I didn’t realize at all looking at videos is the size! Just by size alone I know consider this my portable bug! I took some pictures in case anyone else is interested.
